
Ane Bjerkan is originally from Inderøy and now lives in Oslo. Her debut album "Nothing But Cherry Blossoms from now on" (2017) has received praise at home and abroad. In 2021 she released her second album "Vagō", with detailed production mixed by Francesco Donadello among others. In 2024, the album "Eynni Idri" (Inner Island) was released by KOSO.
She also collaborated with the band "Five Seconds to Leave" on the album Fullmoon Magazine (2020). In 2023 she worked with the experimental trio MÅNIN, creating music from recycled materials; "Upcycled music" with Mari Lesteberg for the University of Oslo and also wrote lyrics for Camilla Hole's project "Streets in the sky" for the jazz orchestra OJKOS. In the 2025/2026 season she will present her own music in the Czech Republic together with the South Bohemian Philharmonic Orchestra.
